OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
The hardest part of Cushing's disease for me was how my mental health suffered. No matter how hard I worked, I still blamed myself for what was happening to me. The tumor was hope that with its removal, I could have better days. A better life.MY MESSAGE TO OTHERS
I've been in remission for 8 years. I'm very lucky. I receive so much support in the social media groups I've found. There's more information now than there was when I was sick. My hope is that these words help someone else on their journey. I'm hoping that my words help someone to see that they're not alone, and to keep trying, and keep pushing. We're here.
